Hardware and Software Requirements for SharePoint 2013

Hardware Requirements - Single Server Farm

Processor     : 64 bit four cores
RAM           : 4GB for developer or evaluation use
                      8GB for production use in a single server or multiple server farm

Storage        : 80GB for system drive

For Database Servers:

Processor     : 64 bit,four cores for small deployments,64 bit,eight cores for medium deployments.
RAM           : 8GB for small deployments
                      16GB for medium deployments

Storage        : 80GB for system drive Hard disc space is dependent on the size of your SharePoint     Environment

Software Requirements:

1. Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 or
    Windows Server 2012

Prerequisites:

2. Windows Management Framework 3.0
3. Application Server Role
   Web Server(IIS Role)
4. Microsoft.Net Framework 4.5
    Update for the.Net Framework 4
5. Microsoft SQL Server 2008 SP2 Native Client
    Windows Identity Foundation
    Microsoft Sync Frame Work Run time
6. Windows Server App Fabric
7. Windows Identity Foundation v1.1
8. Microsoft Information Protection and Control Client
    Microsoft WCF data Services
9. Microsoft SQL Server 2008R2(64bit)
   SQL Server 2012

Office Client Side min Requirements:

1.  Office 2010 or Office 2013
2.  SharePoint Designer 2010 only works for 2010 mode sites
     SharePoint Designer 2010 works for both 2010 and 2013 mode sites
3.  SharePoint Workspace(Sky drive Pro)
     SharePoint Workspace 2010 and 2013 work for both 2010 and 2013 mode sites
